I just found this great article on the SAT standardized admission tests over at the Online College Blog. Clearly, many admissions departments are failing society when they place such incredible weight and import on the SAT test. It turns out the new SAT is just as bad as the old SAT. Please let me know what you think.

SAT Scores Are Not A Predictor of Future Success…
June 23, 2008Low SAT Scores Got You Down?
May 31, 2008Don’t let low, average or poor LSAT scores get you down. There are many schools that want you. Sure, elite schools might be off the table – but so what? 99% of college graduates in the United States went to non-elite schools. Study after study has shown virtually no relationship between the college you go to and the money you will earn in the future. There are some exceptions like Harvard and Yale – but otherwise not.
You can still get a high quality education. Check out the Online College Blog – they have posted tons of reviews on great online schools that you will probably be accepted at right away. The great thing about going to school online (or at least starting at online school) is that you can live at home and save some money, get great grades and completely find the track that you want to be on. The Online College Blog recently posted reviews on Bellevue University Online, and Argosy University Online. Check out these college reviews and let me know what you think. But remember, it’s not where you go to school but rather how hard you work. Don’t let a low or average SAT score get you down.
